Beach Trip with MaSha

MaSha and her siblings and first cousins decided to do another beach weekend this year as a sort of family reunion. All the kids and grandkids were invited as well so we got to participate in a fun beach weekend. We did something similar 4 years ago, which you can revisit in this post!

The original plan was to go to Litchfield Beach and they had rented a big ol' house there where we could all stay. Then Hurricane Florence happened, and many areas in SC flooded in the aftermath. Although Litchfield didn't actually flood, lots of the places near and around it were expecting flooding and our plans were in jeopardy. A few of the family members backed out, and MaSha and Nancy did a little researching and ended up canceling the Litchfield house and booking a house at Folly Beach, where they weren't expecting flooding. The house wasn't quite as big so some of the family had to stay at The Tides Hotel, but we got to all spend time together regardless. So it all worked out in the end!

We really don't see these family members all that often, with the exception of Aunt Lorraine, whom we typically see at least a few times a year. So I, personally, really enjoyed getting to know everyone a little better and hearing more about their lives and their families.

After lunch, most of us went back to the house, but a few went to walk on the pier (including William and Leece).
