We were once again in attendance for this summer's Dabo's Ladies Clinic. My FAVORITE! This is such an awesome event. Remember the last few years's clinics?? Check them out: 2016, 2017.
The 2018 Clinic started out with a little drama. Soooo many people missed out on tickets when they went on sale, US INCLUDED! It literally sold out in less than 10 minutes. Brittney was online and trying to enter our info when the site crashed and then when she started over, the event was sold out. I was really bummed. I had given up on the idea of going, when we got a surprise email. The powers that be decided to open it back up for more people to buy tickets. They must have gotten a lot of complaints. I was ecstatic!
So this year was a bit different. The event went from 1,200 people to over 3,000. That's quite a jump! It used to be in the football complex and this year it was in Littlejohn Coliseum, our basketball arena. I was worried that we wouldn't get the same access to the coaches and players as we have in years past.
Although it was different, it was still tons of fun! We did get access to our people and got an inside look into what makes up Clemson football. A cool addition this year was that Holly Rowe, an ESPN sideline reporter, was a speaker. In all honesty, she was never my favorite reporter with ESPN, but hearing her speak completely changed my mind about her. She was incredibly engaging, funny, and real. I have a lot of respect for her and she's definitely moved up in my list of "favorites"!

After the program in Littlejohn was complete, we had the opportunity to go to the stadium, rub the Rock, run down The Hill and then meander over to the Reeves Football Complex to take a self-guided tour.
