Can you hear me now?

This is pretty comical and I can laugh about it now because it's better, but we had a little ear scare this week.

Stokes is my baby with allergies. I've posted about it before, but Stokes is allergic to eggs and peanuts and sees the Allergist every 6 months for testing. In addition to food allergies, his skin is very sensitive. He gets diaper rashes much more often than the other 2 and has had his share of eczema and has to use fragrance free lotion and bath wash, etc. You get the point. It was not surprising therefore when he has reactions to bug bites. Poor little guy! We definitely noticed it quite a bit last summer when he would get a mosquito bite and that area would get really red and swollen.

This week, Stokes somehow got some sort of bug bite on his EAR! That thing got so swollen that he almost looked like a cartoon! It was so big and so red and was sticking out so far that it really looked fake. Bless his heart. The other ear looked totally normal, which made the scene even more ridiculous looking. I, of course, had to take some pictures and also proceeded to call the pediatrician for advice. Luckily, it wasn't anything dangerous and didn't show any signs for needing to be taken in for an appointment, but it was crazy looking. It went down significantly overnight and looks almost back to normal now. You won't believe this....check these pictures out!

Notice anything different?

Whoa there!

Poor guy!
As you can see, he really wasn't too bothered by it!

Rear view - can you believe that thing?!?!
