Snowfall in December (again)

We got snow in December 2017 as well and it is such fun to be able to play in snow before Christmas!

We got several inches in Greenville and had a blast playing in it. Our driveway and front yard has a little slope to it, so we realized that we didn't have to go far for some sledding. Some of our neighborhood friends came by and join in with the snow festivities, which added to the excitement and enjoyment of the day.

Fresh snow

The boys were so excited to put on their snow gear so we could go play! Side note: lots of laundry was done during the snow excitement. Every time they came inside everything was wet and cold...laundry time. LOL

Ready to go!
Ryan was ready, too!
SNOW DAY!!!

We didn't have any real sledding equipment, so we did what any good Southern family would do - use pool floats instead! Ha!

Parents got in on the fun, too

Ryan was not actually a huge fan of the snow. We took him down on the tubes a few times while he sat in our laps. He did like that, but apart from that, he preferred being inside. The cold and wet were not very fun for him!

A brief snack break for popcorn was in the cards!

Ready to go back out!
Our friends!

Being silly

Fun day with snow!

The following day, we had less and it was pretty well trampled on, but that didn't stop us from maximizing our snow time.

Playing with some more neighborhood friends

The aftermath.

We'll see if we'll get any more this winter... I hope we do! It's just so fun.
