Aunt Wendy's Easter Egg Hunt

We got invited to "Aunt Wendy's Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch" again this year and were so excited to go! The weather was a little iffy and was calling for scattered showers, but we got a text from Wendy that morning letting us know that the hunt was happening, rain or shine! Luckily for all, the weather ended up absolutely gorgeous!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch" :)

Before we left the house, I had to get a few pictures of my guys looking so cute!

Yay! Azaleas are blooming! But we did not do a good
job of getting a smiley picture with said azaleas.

If you want to know how to throw a party, take some tips from Wendy. She literally thinks of everything! She's truly the epitome of the "hostess with the mostest". We got there right on time (pat on the back ;) and she had a craft table set up to make Easter egg maracas and bunny faces while we waited for all the kids to arrive.

She is so sweet and they love being around her!

Then it was time to hunt for eggs! We moved from the front around to the back, where the Easter eggs were hidden. Poor kids, though, we made them all get together for a massive picture before they could scatter for eggs and candy. They were troopers.

What a cute bunch!

Sweet Caroline with her
precious bonnet!

Stokie liked the bonnet, too

Stokes saw us taking pictures and ran over to get
next to the tree for some pictures as well. HA!

After all the eggs had been found, we meandered inside this beautiful home for Wendy's elegant brunch! It was all so good and everything looked so pretty!

to Ryan to help him eat

The boys were pretty pooped after our fun morning, so they went down for their naps shortly after we got home. Later on that afternoon, I pulled out the bunny crafts and tried to get a picture of all of them wearing them. Two words: didn't happen. Here are my attempts. :)

Stokes "wearing" his

They didn't want to hold them still over their faces haha

The bunny crafts got a little bit bent in this process

Ryan was willing to "wear" his.

What a sweet boy!

Here's what they looked like! I made them each a
different colored gingham bow tie. Too bad the real
picture didn't turn out. LOL
Wendy's 2016 Easter egg hunt did not disappoint. We were all so grateful that the weather cooperated and all the kids had such a great time! Thomas and I enjoyed catching up with some of the other parents (and Aunts) there! Thank you, Aunt Wendy, for such a lovely morning!!!
