Tennessee times two

The Last weekend, we all went to Tennessee....but two different parts. See, Thomas had plans to attend the Tennessee/Florida football game with Granddad and the boys and I were going to go and hang out with Aunt Ashley and the girls in Knoxville. Then I got my cousins wedding invitation that was on the same day as the game. Whoops! Plans changed and Thomas and I compromised and decided to divide and conquer.

I took William and Ryan with me to Atlanta (to break up our trip and visit Kathy, Duncan, Virginia and Abigail) > NW Georgia to stay with Nana > Chattanooga for wedding. Thomas took Stokes with him to Knoxville and Stokes stayed with Ashley while Thomas went to the game with Granddad.

All in all, it was such a fun weekend. We seriously have the best family! Both sides and all around! The boys could not be more loved, entertained, appreciated, in demand, and paid attention to. Lucky little fellas. :)

Annnnnndddd here's a little video of Stokes on the zip line playing in Knoxville. Don't go too fast now, LOL.

Friday night we made it to Atlanta and it happened to be Homecoming (or HoCo for short) for Virginia and Abigail. We took the boys to the high school football homecoming game. So fun! They did great and had a blast. They stayed up way past their bedtime (we left at halftime but it was already around 9:30 or 10!) and William even got in on the black out theme at the game and wore a black jacket. He was so cool.

Saturday morning, we played for a little while before the girls had to go to their soccer game and we got on the road to Nana's house.

Right before the girls left for soccer, we had to get a few quick pics. These girls are so confident and such wonderful role models. They're so different, just like my boys are different, and have different friends, different hobbies, different styles, etc. I am incredibly proud of the beautiful, smart, talented, athletic, and most importantly kind young women they've become. I'm so glad to have my boys be around them and soak in some of that awesome-ness.

And even though we didn't get to see them in person on Saturday night, here's a picture of these gorgeous girls before their Homecoming dance. Dresses on point. They slay.

Homecoming beauties

Saturday we got to Nana's house around lunchtime and spent the afternoon hanging out with cousins and even Aunt  Anne dropped by before she had to go to a meeting. The boys skipped naps. I gave it a whirl to see what happened. I didn't want them to miss out on any fleeting family time.

Just hangin' out!

The boys looked so dapper for the wedding. I didn't have suits for them, but had them wearing bow ties, like the cute little southern gentlemen they are!

Cutie boys!

No naps = a quick snooze on the 30 min drive to Chattanooga
The wedding was absolutely beautiful and Kelsea was a gorgeous bride. She's my cousin's daughter, so I think that makes her my second cousin....maybe??? I don't know about these things, but either way, she made a beautiful bride. The wedding was at a museum and the ceremony was outside on the lawn, then the reception started inside the museum and ended with dancing out on the patio. Everything seemed to flow perfectly and we had such a good time!

It was another late night out for these little guys and they were both in their element getting tons of attention and not being fussy at all, despite the nap skippage. I was very proud.
