First visit to Clemson

Today we took the boys on a short road trip. We took them to God's Country, aka Tiger Town, aka Clemson, SC. It was a very important day. :)

Thomas and I have been looking forward to this for a while but had to wait until the weather was warm (and not rainy) and when we didn't have other plans. Today was that day. I took about 2.5 million pictures, which is only a slight exaggeration.

When referring to Clemson, the saying goes, "there's something in these hills" and it's so true! It was an enjoyable day and Thomas and I both just get a good, comfortable, "I'm home" type feeling when we go back to our alma mater.

We put the boys in their strollers and walked all through campus. The memories came flooding back! It was the first time we've been on campus and had to pay attention to finding ramps and avoiding stairs since we had strollers. It was a new experience for us - ha!

This was cool. We went to the Hendrix Student Center and noticed bricks on the walkway for the '04 and '05 graduating classes. Thomas and I found our names!

We ended the afternoon on Bowman Field. We finally got the babies out of their strollers to play around a little. There was a great shady area near a tree and they were glad to get some time to kick around and move.

The first tears of the day...way late in the afternoon. This fussiness lasted all of 2 min. I was impressed!
