We went to the beach last week (post coming soon!!) and went down to the coast a day early to visit our family in Charleston. We got there Friday night right around bedtime and stayed through lunch on Saturday before driving north on 17 towards the beach. The boys loved seeing and playing with their cousins and all of us adults had a great time catching up, too. The highlight of our quick Charleston trip was playing in the sprinklers outside on Saturday morning. Tara, Matt and the girls have some awesome backyard sprinkler toys! Check it out...
We put a little splash pad at the end of the slide so they would slide right in to the water!

Family time is so important to us and we all loved seeing our peeps in Charleston! It definitely helped to only have an hour and a half drive to the beach from Charleston vs. the 4 or 5 hours it would have taken from Greenville.
