It's a shame but this year was probably my worst year for taking pictures and capturing memories from Thanksgiving. That said, it was full of family, food, laughs, leaves and a nice big walk.
We didn't do some of the things we've done in previous years - Christmas lights, Rock City, etc. We pretty much spent the whole time at Nana's house, just enjoying each others' company. This is really the only time of year that we see some of these family members so we want to make the most of this time!
Playing in the leaves! How "fall-ish"!
Ryan loved the leaves! He would kick his legs and hear the leaves rustling, which would make him laugh! Such innocent and pure joy.
Hanging out with Dada
Ryan with Nova, my cousin Marla's dog. Ryan and Nova are kind of besties.
We went out on a walk to walk off just a few of the million calories consumed, and his beautiful husky came up and was so friendly and went walking with us. At some point, the boys got in front of a gate along the road and told us they wanted us to take their picture. Those are my boys! Haha!
So, the pictures are kind of lacking, but the family time was wonderful. I didn't get any pics of anyone other than the boys, which is kind of disappointing. We watched a few movies, watched some football, got to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine, and played.
This year, as always, we're thankful for our family and friends and good health.
